It’s the #BerryPatch Birthday Bonanza! These pups were born at midnight, so @hathorhamstery and I had their birthdays on different days. I think that means they should just get to celebrate on both days!
Happy birthday #Boysen, and of course #Lingon as she spends her golden years with @keeperofhams! Happy birthday Berry Patch pups!
Uploading hamster pic soon after*
*Disclaimer: I am in no way an aquarium keeper or have a lot of knowledge about fish but I do want to share a story about one❤️
Let me introduce you to Osvald. He is a male dwarf gourami (as far as I've been told) and he is a rescue fish. (I pretty much did not know it was a thing until it happened to me). He was a gift to a friend of a person I really do not like but that's another story lol. He was gifted as a "betta" fish. And was offered in a small fish bowl with no substrate and nothing in it. The owner did not take care of it (forgot to feed him for almost a week, did not clean him which was absolutely necessary considering it was a small bowl that had no filter in, etc) This I know bc of said person told me. The friend moved and abandoned Osvald, this said person adopted him, the person was just the same though, never bothered to buy substrate, plants, hides or anything. Did not buy a bigger enclosure and forgot to feed and clean him. This person left and abandoned him, so I decided to take him in, after all: How hard could it be? Well it was hard. Dealing with a fish with things that were not correct for him. I didn't even like fish, I was absolutely disgusted by them. I had no idea how to care for one. I started slow, saw that bowls were not correct for them, bought a tank recommended for him. Cleaned all his mess up. Bought substrate and plants. ( Well aware of rinsing them before DW) and bought some hides and things for him to enjoy. A filter was also bought. Now, I know that probably its not the best aquarium ever, I am slowly trying though to make it better. His arrival did take me by surprise and I had some ups and downs regarding his care. Still do sometimes and its mostly because I don't want him to live like he did before. I try to be as accurate as I can regarding the care of my pets. I will soon buy more plants for him❤️ and perhaps some other things. I've joined quite a lot of forums on fish to be able to know about them. Osvald has really grown on me. He's two years old approximately. Before him as I said, I did not like fish. I love him though. Seeing him swimming around his tank⬇️CONTINUE
