Despite being mid back pose with slightly different posing, (that I absolutely hated) I’m very proud of the improvements that were made in exactly one year! ☺️
Longer, leaner and a more streamlined physique with improved muscle quality and stage presence was needed to win my Pro status🙏🏽
I’ve said it many of times, and I’ll say it again...
You can’t remain stage lean year round and expect to look or place better at your next show. You need to go through those uncomfortable, but much needed off season phases to grow, recover and return with an improved physique. Including how well you show case it. Posing is Everything!
How can you expect the judges to give you a better placing, if you haven’t done the work to improve?
Changes like this won’t magically happen over night.
Hire a knowledgeable coach and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. The stage will always be there, so make sure you’re taking enough time between shows to make the necessary improvements. Put in the work, be patient & most importantly, Stay Consistent | 🗝

I was dreading this run yesterday but I pushed through 4 miles anyhow. I always feel so happy to complete the goal that I set in my mind beforehand; the goal mentally gets me to the destination. In so many ways running is the only place I'm feeling myself these days: slow yet strong willed and determined to accomplish goals. In other areas of life, it seems like I'm fighting fear more than experiencing this fierce part of myself that I know exists. Running reminds me of this girl and is encouraging me to let her trump the fear of failing in other areas of life too.
Side note: I couldn't be more ready for #christmasincali ! Running in 30degree winds is not that great.
We always tend to search for the quick fix like juice cleanses, diet pills or some other completely unsustainable diet methods. .
But in order to change our body, to change our life for the long run (not only temporary), we need to change our thinking habits!! In fitness and general in life don't exist quick fixes! There's no special pill, no special diet, no special workout plan that is bringing us to success. We have to do something different to achieve different results than we've got in our past. .
Believe in me, I've been there many many times of my life. And while always searching for the short cut it took me 6 yrs more than it would have if I was focusing on methods for the long run. in order to look and feel our best, we need to make healthy choices day in and day out. Nobody's going to do it for us. If we don't change our thinking and mindset towards food and movement, we'll never reach the place we deserve to be.

Raptors take on the Warriors tonight in Golden State! It will be a tough matchup but Kawhi is playing and Lowry was feeling it last night!
Last matchup it went to OT and Kevin Durant went off and dropped 51 POINTS. It’ll be battle but we’re ready!
