HOPE⠀ We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure... Hebrews 6:19⠀
No matter what happens in life our hope, that we have through Jesus Christ, remains secure and firm. It is an anchor for our souls through the storms of life.⠀
Today, reflect on the hope that you have in Christ, brought to earth through a baby born one night, long ago, in a stable. #christmas#hopeinchrist#reflect#givethanks
Today's Christmas celebration focuses on the theme 'Joy to the World'. As an expression of joy, the teachers and students took part in different activities- from gift sharing to performances.Everyone joyfully commemorated the time when Jesus was born in our midst and that He is truly the reason for this Christmas season. With glad tidings, we wish one and all a meaningful Christmas.
On January 1, 1914 Tony Jannus piloted the United States’ first commercial airline flight for the St. Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line in Thomas Benoist’s flying boat.
In, what I imagine to be, a very exciting 23 minutes, aviation experts shortened that 21-mile commute from 2h by steamship, 4.5h by rail, and 20h by automobile.
Nearly 105 years later with hundreds of thousands of miles under my belt, I can’t help but appreciate how far we’ve come - and the level of convenience and adventure that air travel continues to afford this wandering soul.... While traveling this holiday season, when weather delays, long security lines, and unexpected gate changes get you down, consider and thank the pilots and flight crews, gate attendants, air traffic controllers, ramp agents, mechanics, and even the TSA employees who work through the holidays *many of them thousands of miles away from their families* to be sure you can enjoy some quality time with yours.
@donjohnson Everyday I give thanks to GOD as a little over 2 yrs ago I had a very serious accident in which I fell and hit my head as a result of an arterial bleed (aneurysm) in my sub-clavian artery which is in the chest and had to be life-flighted from Hopkinsville to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Trauma Unit and it has been a life-changer for me as I'm continuing to recover and have a long way to go to be back to where I was before my near fatal accident. My lifesavers..While I was at Vanderbilt Medical Center to pick up copies of my entire medical record I went up to see the nurses who took care of me while I was in the Trauma ICU and thanked them for helping to save my life. I tried to locate Dr. Oscar G who is the head of Trauma Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center but he had already gone home for the day. I told the nurses to tell him that I appreciated what he did to help keep me alive. I also met Buddy who was one of the nurses who took care of me and he recognized me right away. I got a copy of my entire medical record and couldn't believe how close to dying I came as I had a GCS of 3 (unresponsive) which is very bad and other very serious complications from my fall such as a closed head injury, multiple rib fractures, blood pressure of 80/40, hypoxic, hemorrhagic shock, respiratory and cardiac failure, glucose of 405+ with urine glucose of 500+, large hemothorax, large pleural effusion, pupils were normal but sluggish, comatose, severe concussion, and lost 10 units of PRBC and was on life support for close to a week and had 2 chest tubes. Yes they definitely do work miracles at VUMC Trauma ICU as they definitely saved my life. The nurse pictured with me is Buddy who was one of my nurses.

Day 10 recommendation... Is not exactly about Glitter... Buy is more about shinning a light to those who are in any kind of dispair or trouble. Some of us have been very bless, some of us haven't, so for the sake of humanity share a smile not waiting to get it back, be humble you never know the processes that live has in store for you, sometimes I can be extremely depressed but I still find that if I see someone in pain, I try to make their day better, because I have been their in their shoes. So shine a light on someone else's life, have empathy and don't forget you are also a human being in need of something.
Two more weekends until Christmas... whaaaaaaat??? How did that happen! This month started off with a bang with the Forever Young Toy Drive and you can read all about it in my blog post today! Link in profile! 📝 or visit www.SabrinaLouisePhotography.com and go to the blog!!
I try and tell my son this every day. In one way shape or form.
Be true to you.
A reminder that us as parents might need some time too!
Have you been intentionally giving yourself extra love lately? 💕
.We’re heading into a new season and sometimes a new season needs time set aside for reflection and release of the past year but don’t forget to give credit to yourself for all your accomplishments big or small 💕
