I wasn’t born like this. I BUILT myself to this. It sounds easier said than done, but with the right amount of dedication, discipline & determination— it CAN be done. (Double Tap ♥️ if you want me to post my “before” pic)
I’m always told “You have good genes” or “You’re born that way that’s why I can’t look like that”.... *long pause* Let me clarify that THIS REQUIRED YEARS of hard work, trial, errors, failures, blood, sweat and tears. When I first started my journey I was weak, skinny and had NO idea what to do. So what did I do? I started from the very beginning and educated myself. I spent years learning about the human anatomy, nutrition & what worked best for my own body. .
You only see my highlight now, but I want to assure you that I’ve faced SO many struggles throughout my journey. If you’re struggling right now, trust me, I’VE BEEN THERE. You’re on the right path, with your struggles comes success. When I first started I wasn’t told this, I was given the false idea that you weren’t supposed to fail. I’m here to remind you that in actuality you will struggle & that’s part of the process!! I’ve built this platform and community to be here to SUPPORT and help you in any way possible💪🏼 -

When dudes say weightlifting and building muscle makes a woman look like a man. .
Maybe if you lifted heavy, you would too 💁🏼♀️
Day 2 in the books- just 20 minutes. ✌ .
Watched #dirtyjohn while I got my workout in lets just say #girlpowerbaby.
Putting my "gym" away, bringing out the "office" lighting a fire, and enjoying this #rain .

You wouldn’t be wrong to think carving out time for self-care is a significant challenge, but that can totally be in the past ...that’s why there’s ME!
I am a busy wife, student, RN and entrepreneur myself, and am living proof that making time for self-care, is the best way to get the rest of your life handled!
I would love to share more about how I make self-care a priority in my virtual nutrition and fitness groups! Come @ me with your questions!
There are times in the night hours I can just crave a conversation. Which if you know my life, you would think I would crave more silence.
The thing is God didn't make us to be islands. He made us to be friends, to grow together, and to share our lives.
We should be sharing intimately and listening actively.
It can be more important for the conversation to be more listening than talking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My day so far. I rather be at the gym, guess this is my workout for the day. 2 more crates to go, think I could have done a better job if I did this myself. 🤦♀️

"Some people whine, make excuses, and quit. And some people deadlift”. I haven’t done deadlift in a minute. I’m glad they are back into my program. #deadlift

We can’t control absolutely everything! Somethings just have to be left up in the air! We just have to have faith‼️
Isn’t that really, when the most beautiful amazing things often happen? 😉
What do you think? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #noguarantee#havefaith#thebeautifulthings
No new year, new me. It’s a lifestyle. I guess you can say, I’ve learned to make healthier decisions along the way.
Growing up as the chubby kid and spending my early adult years overweight, I knew something had to change. And that change had to start with me. -
Remember that the first step in reaching your goal(s) is to simply make a decision to start. It’s your journey. So promise yourself that you’ll see it through till the end💫 #dontgiveup
Reposting this from my business page because I think it’s a good post for everyone, so sorry for the double post to people who follow both 🤗
One thing that many people neglect in their training is incorporating unilateral exercises. But there are many benefits to making them an addition to your daily routine.
Your body is challenged to maintain a level of balance so it does not fall over while performing the exercise. Thus you are able to increase your balance and stability of the single leg to a higher degree.
Improve muscle imbalances.
You are able to work on imbalances that present when performing a movement bilaterally. Allowing your non dominant side to get just as much work as the dominant leg. .
Improve core stability.
When switching to a single leg exercise you are training against forces from multiple planes, unlike a bilateral movement. Thus presenting a greater challenge for the core musculature and improving the ability of your abdominals to stabilize.
One of my favorite variations to add to leg day is the single leg RDL: .
It can be done with a variety of things such as a kettle bell, dumbbell, or plate. .
Biggest thing you want to focus on when performing the exercise:
-Pick a point and look forward -Brace your core
-Keep your lumbar spine neutral -Hinge at the hips and push them back as you reach down
Do you guys incorporate single leg training into your training? If so what are some of your favorite movements.

⚡️ #10YearChallenge Same long hair, different mentality. Left is when I lost 25lbs and new to personal training. I would ask this girl, “You think you know about nutrition and fitness? Girlfriend, you’ll need a decade more of experience to apply that knowledge!” — Lots of squats later 😉, I’ve since learned so much about life, met so many amazing people, and grateful that I can help others by just doing what I love. I would tell her to keep being strong-minded and fierce. 🦁 #fitfam#personaltrainer#strengthcoach#onlinecoach
Swipe for 🦵🏼 day things
1. Hamstring curls
2. Leg Press
3. Leg extensions
Squats felt a little bit heavier today. On my last 2 sets I tried 175lbs for 5 & still pushed through 💪🏼 Ignited my inner little beast🔥🏋🏻♀️
Never lookin back or too far in front of me, the present is a gift and I just want to BE 🤘🏽 •
