Crushed some Shoulders today!☄️ I been focusing on my rear delts these past three months because that is a muscle group i lack on the most and i have been noticing some gains. All i have been doing is super sets and drop sets and it’s paying off!🔥🔥

Completed my first workout of the #mytransphormationchallenge this morning. I honestly really pushed myself and that isnt something I normally do. My headphones died before cardio (why does this always happen) but got it done regardless. Got my macros set with my trainer @hnsfitness yesterday and I'm going to give my all for the next 8 weeks.

🌺 Slim: next weigh in is on Sunday 1/20
🤔 Managed to get about 1k deficit last 2 days, just to see what it would take without cutting food calories, do not feel I can sustain it daily due to no extra time available to walk even more... so I guess I just need to accept that what I do now is best that I can do going forward, and see how weight will react...

Lately I’ve been thinking about what’s important in my life ... how is it that when something feels so right .. yet you aren’t getting what you deserve from it?
So today, I started my run at 523am on a Friday 😬 #whoami But today is a work day so I knew I wouldn’t have time all day, and since it’s Friday I knew I would most likely not do it tonight and I didn’t want to take that chance. #newyearnewgoals

ᴇɴᴅ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ᴍᴇᴅɪᴀᴛɪᴏɴ.
I got me some sore muscles from working out and running this week, but that’s part of my balance of physical and mental health. Until recently I sacrificed one for the other, never catching them in harmony, but our outlook this year is a positive one that puts both at the forefront.
I write to be creative. It’s something that pulls at me daily, something I feel the urge to do nearly all the time, and when I don’t, it builds up until I have to write to keep from being overwhelmed with life. It’s my mental health habit, along with meditating. 🧘🏼♀️
My new physical balance? Running. I mean, whoa, who knew I would feel worn out and refreshed at the same time after going a mile and a half after work? 🏃🏼♀️ It’s amazing in so many ways!
So as this week comes to a close, I’m meditating on the balance of the mental and the physical. And challenging you to do the same. What keeps you going? What keeps you balanced?
