Have you had a C-Section or any abdominal surgery?
Healing can take time, often women are told to give themselves 6 weeks recovery post op and then resume normal activity. This can be a struggle for some and it may take longer. You can get help from a women's pelvic health physio.
Your scar may look well healed but are you experiencing any issues with 🔹abdominal pain at the incision site
🔹digestive issues like constipation 🔹increased frequency of urine
🔹altered skin sensation?
During a C-sec / abdominal surgery there is disturbance of the muscles, fascia(tissue around and in between the muscles and organs) and nerves. Scar tissue and adhesions can develop over time and these may lead to the symptoms listed above. Scar mobilisation and massage can greatly reduce or eliminate these symptoms. Btw it is never too late too late to start working on a scar.

STOP 7 on the Galway Sightseeing Tour is Newcastle where the NUI Galway North Campus is located. The Quadrangle first opened its doors to 68 students on 30th October 1849 and the University, then known as Queen's College was born. The Quadrangle building, built in local limestone in a Tudor Gothic architectural style, is modelled on Christ Church at the University of Oxford. The 'Quad' still stands proudly at the heart of the University today as a testament to its past #lallytours#wildatlanticway#galwaycity#galwayireland#nuig
