🌿El sabor del coco en el curry era delicioso y el punto de picante estaba perfecto, súmale un poco de acido de la lima ,el perfume y frescor del cilantro y el crujiente de los cacahuetes y tienes un plato top! Today after being all the morning with work from the academy we have given time to make a few pictures of the food that Diego has cooked today, a sweet potato Curry with Vietnamese noodles, shitake and silk tofu that was for a bath in it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 The flavor of the coconut in the curry was delicious and the spicy point was perfect, add a little acid from the lime, the perfume and freshness of the cilantro and the crispy peanuts and you have a top dish! It is also vegan, because the noodles are made of rice. Would you like to have the recipe?

When in doubt, chuck a load of veg and lentils in a pan & hope for the best. .
Recipe just below! .
For the dal: •1 large onion finely chopped •3 cloves garlic •1 red chilli
•1 cup lentils •1.5l of stock •1 tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tsp ground coriander, pinch salt .
METHOD: •lightly fry the chopped onion and chilli in a glug of coconut oil, for around 7 minutes. •add the minced cloves of garlic and fry for 1 minute •add the lentils and heat for a minute or so followed by the stock and the dried spices •simmer for around 20 minutes until the lentils are cooked and enjoy with a fresh dollop of dairy free yogurt & chopped cucumber

The best part of this place is the combination: together with bujha, smokey sekuwas, homemade hariyo khursani achar, onions and lemon juice, you’ll definitely love it. Not the best sekuwas that I have tried but for the price it is totally worth it.
The sekuwa here is served on a small alley of Maru Tole. You’ll get bothered with all the two wheelers going hither and thither and honking horns but that won’t stop you from having delicious, juicy pieces of sekuwas. I always get myself 3-5 jhirs at once with extra achar, onions and lemon.

Last night my husband ordered Kacchi Biryani and I ordered Lamb Biryani. We also had daal, vegetable curry and salad alongside our biryanis at Dhaka Biryani Kitchen on Romford Road. We thoroughly enjoyed both biryanis, I preferred my one however as it tasted better (says me, lol 😂) and hubby preferred his. I wasn't too keen on the daal or veg curry but the biryani and salad was good. The restaurant is a basic no frills eatery, just order and eat, which is all I wanted last night as I was starving! Their firni was so delicious too, I would recommend trying it even if you don't go to sit and eat, you can pick up a small tub for 75p. 😋_
