Gg 📢 Silencing the opinions of others 📵
It’s 2019... We’re continuously being bombarded with judgement and the opinions from others. It’s old news I know.
We can’t escape it, and yes it’ll get worse. With over 100,000 social media accounts created daily that have a voice of their own, the noice can only increase 📶
One trick I learnt from famous author “Dale Carnegie” is the ability to silence ALL opinions which includes the GOOD and the bad. Being honest, I love a good complement right? Who doesn’t? What I discovered is, if we entertain thoughts long enough we start to become them, we thrive off acknowledgement and the feeling of importance but we suffer when people tell us we are fat, useless and ugly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why cause so much emotional damage when we can just flick the switch? Too much good, develops head inflation and too much bad, develops insecurities 🤦🏼♂️
From my personal experience, take every opinion with a grain of salt whether it’s good or bad. I don’t care if it’s from your soulmate, your parents, your kids or your best friend either. It’s only one persons opinion. Your opinion of yourself is the most important and should be well guarded 🙅🏼♂️
That being said, spreading kindness and positivity is a reflection of you, just as much as spreading hate and negativity.
Love more, Hate less, judge never 💕
This happens way too often with all of us.
Body weight gain is not a reflection of fat gain.
Your body weight will change everyday because of fluctuating glycogen stores, water weight, and stomach and bladder contents.
Your water weight can depend on multitude of factors like your stress levels, your carb and fiber intake. Did you consume alcohol? Were you hydrated enough? And so on..
Fat gain is really simple, did you eat a surplus of calories?
Although it's not impossible to eat 14000 surplus calories, you probably can if I hold a gun to your head. But chances are you didn't even eat 1000 extra calories. .
Heck, you might have eaten in a calorie deficit and your body weight can still go up.

With the temperature dropping to six degrees, all my meal schedule is going haywire. People usually feel more hungry in winters, mine is opposite. I JUST want to snuggle in and sleep all day. 😂😢 Anyway, so today ended up missing lunch thanks to my beloved sleep. Mixed the leftovers- mix veg and dal (pulses) along with a cup of green tea as evening comfort food. 🍵
