You have to feel comfortable in your own skin or you will never feel home somewhere else ☺️. I really like the mentality over here ♥️. Warum bin ich hier? Ich habe mich nach einem 2 wöchigen Urlaub im Oktober 2017 in diese Stadt verliebt. Die Menschen sind viel offener und zum Content produzieren ist es hier optimal.   • Please read: Legs behind the head. What are the benefits? ⠀ Last time I posed this question about lotus pose, and I got some amazing responses. Many in favor of lotus as a great pose for meditation, and many against the contortion of cranking your legs into a pretzel. ⠀ I’m curious to hear what y’all think about legs behind the head. ⠀ Again, being “raised” on Ashtanga Yoga, I thought this was an important pose, but even back in the day when I could “do it”, I still wasn’t totally convinced it was a necessary place to put my legs. (Note: this is an old picture. I haven’t done this pose in years, and I don’t have plans of doing it anytime soon.) ⠀ In my post about lotus, I made a point of it being “passive” range of motion. Many people responded that they “engage their muscles” while in lotus to stay “active”, but that’s not really what I meant. If you have to use your hands to get into it, it’s passive (uncontrollable) range of motion. Even if you can get into it without using your hands, the leverage of pressing your legs against each other makes the range of motion uncontrollable on its own. Does that make sense? ⠀ So instead of passive, let’s call it “uncontrollable” range of motion, and legs behind the head is in the same boat. You have to use your hands to get your legs back there, and then you rely on the leverage from the back of your head to keep them there. ⠀ So the question is, what’s the point? ⠀ I LOVE open and honest discussion about this stuff, and while I’ve already shared my opinion that I don’t see the point of this pose, maybe YOU can convince me otherwise?

  • Otro almuerzo increíble! Para hoy el menú es 🌼🌸PURÉ DE COLIFLOR + CROQUETAS DE PAVO Y 🍳 🌸🌼. Me encanta este puré, queda cremoso y muy parecido al de papa. La verdad es que es una buena opción para incorporar la coliflor a nuestra alimentación si es que no les gusta tanto 🤔. ➡Para el puré procesar 150 gr de coliflor previamente hervida + 25 gr de queso untable o ricotta + condimentos a gusto (sal + ajo + comino, etc) y yo le añadí una cdta de ghee que es la mantequilla clarificada para darle ese tipico sabor de puré, y debo admitir que el ghee les da un toque exquisito a las comidas. Si tienen la posibilidad de comprarlo háganlo, vale la pena. Como ven es muy simple! ➡Para las croquetas de pavo procesar 140 gr de carne molida de pechuga de pavo + cebolla + zanahoria y los vegetales que quieran, pimentón, etc y condimentos. Armar 2 croquetas gorditas y pequeñas y a la sartén! Se demoran aprox 4 minutos por lado y listo. ➡El huevo lo hice en mi sartén favorita que no se pega jajaja y lo tape para que se cocinara bien. Nada de aceite 😏. Para que se hagan una idea todo mi plato tiene: 🔸293.3 kcal. 🔸34.6 gr de proteínas. 🔸6.3 gr de carbohidratos. 🔸10.5 gr de lípidos. #recetasfitness #fit #fitness #food #delicioso #recetas #recetasdiarias #instaofday #recetadiaria #recipes #recipe #huevo #croquetas #rico #delicioso #cambiadehabitos #sientetebien #animate #fitgirl #crisnutricion #pure #coliflor #pavo

  • Nice pump today💪🏻 - Today was a push session and this consisted of an incline DB bench press to start. Getting up the 26kgs up for 8 reps so I’m feeling a lot stronger. Dropped to the 22s for a drop set to get the blood pumping in the chest. - Legs tomorrow so hoping to increase my squat numbers. Getting some recovery and good rest tonight will definitely help towards the numbers tomorrow🤪 - Workout: Inc DB press (3) 5/8 OHP (3) Lateral raise (2) Flat DB flys (2) Triceps push down (3)

  • Quando temos alteração sanguínea no perfil lipídico (colesterol e triglicérides), é normal ouvir que temos que cortar gordura da alimentação, né?! . Pois bem, sabia que o problema não são as gorduras boas ingeridas (queijos, carnes, iogurtes e leites integrais e etc) e, sim, o excesso de CARBOIDRATOS? . Devemos diminuir a ingestão de carboidratos, pois assim o corpo utilizará o excesso de gordura no sangue como fonte de energia, reduzindo os níveis plasmáticos de colesterol e/ou triglicérides. 😉😏 . Aqui vão algumas dicas: - Reduzir o consumo de carboidratos no geral, mas principalmente, os refinados (pães feitos com farinha de trigo “branca”, tapioca, arroz branco e etc); - Não consumir açúcar e, se não souber ler a lista de ingredientes dos industrializados, evitá-los, pois a maioria contém algum tipo de açúcar 😞; - Evitar suco de frutas: acabamos por ingerir grandes quantidades de carboidratos (uma vez que, para fazer um suco, precisamos utilizar uma quantidade considerável de fruta), prefira consumi-la in natura e consuma com moderação; - Baseie sua alimentação em comida de verdade: frutas, legumes, verduras, iogurtes naturais, leite, carnes, ovos, peixes, frango, cereais integrais, etc; - Pratique exercícios! A atividade física auxilia no aumento do HDL (colesterol bom), responsável por retirar o LDL (colesterol ruim) da corrente sanguínea, auxilia na perda de peso (menos gordura corporal = melhora na gordura sanguínea). 😉😘
