  • People often ask me, “What are the rules for getting rid of stuff?” ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ My answer is that there are no rules, because we are all individuals. There isn’t a catch all that works for everyone.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ But, I will tell you one of my tools, and it has nothing to do with the clothes, or some rule, or what you are “supposed” to do.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ It has to do with how you feel. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ When you look at something in your closet that you don’t wear anymore, do you feel like crap? Do you think about money wasted or someone you “should” be? Then let it go, because you are giving your self a little micro psychological beating every time you look at it. ⁣I heard the most gorgeous thing on @ttfapodcast the other day- don’t “should” on yourself and don’t “should” on other people- works for everything in life, even the clothes you wear. ⁣ SO, STOP THAT. Getting dressed is fun, and so are you. If you are ready to leave the “should’s” at the door and make room for some fun, closet clean-outs are on sale in the shop through Christmas Eve. ⁣See you soon! ⁣
