This is the back of the Intervals vinyl which will make a lot of sense if you go back and look at the other two posts. This perspective puts the viewer looking back through the portal to the front cover and also gave me a chance to take advantage of the window sill on both covers to add some extra details. If you look closely there is a caterpillar on the front cover that has become a butterfly on the back cover, the shape of the vase and colour of the flowers represent polarity, while the compass and hourglass symbolise both the direction and effort of the journey ahead. There are a few extras but I like leaving them up to the viewer to interpret for themselves!
For my birthday this year, my boyfriend (the talented, @retnuh_music) knew exactly what I wanted: Octane! I didn’t even realize what a jump in quality Octane would give me, but holy shit. I even impressed myself by some of the creations I’ve made this past week. This is one of many experiments I’ve made and rendered with Octane. I’ve been creating organic interwoven shapes, and this one turned out better than I could have hoped! 2019 looks like it’s going to be a wonderful year for me in C4D 🖤
