"But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day" (Proverbs 4:18).
My boy, on his favorite trip with his dad. They are at the farm where Mike’s dad grew up. It’s over 100 acres of land. Benjamin has high hopes of getting a big buck to bring home to us. But I think even more so, it fills his tank to have his dad all to himself for a couple of days.
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

"Where there is no guidance the people fall, but in abundance of counselors there is victory" (Proverbs 11:14).
"For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will a receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire" (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).
"Because of the tender mercy of our God, with which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, to shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace" (Luke 1:78-79).
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
"Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:1-2).
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
Having a toddler to explore nature with has given me a whole new appreciation for this verse. He sees things I don’t, and he forces me to walk slowly and take time to notice and take delight in the little things.
Take time to notice the little details that show God’s care, the changing of the seasons that speak of His steadfast faithfulness, and the provision He has given throughout His creation.
