The Royal Look: The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, was spotted this morning stepping out (Twickehnham, England) wearing our signature maxi-length wool coat, ADELAIDA, to visit The Royal Variety Charity’s Brinsworth House.
*Short story* Recently I’ve been feeling inspired & motivated by my own successes & I just wanted to share some of the reality of it to show that everything you see on social media isn’t always what it seems.
This time 2 years ago I had just left my corporate job making $$$. Yes the $ was nice, but I wasn’t actually living life. After quitting my job I spent time investing in myself. I started going back to school full time & tried to start my own business. I quickly learned the business owning part was just not currently for my path at the time. I soon quit to just focus on school full time. Shortly after I got a part-time office job making JUST enough money to pay my bills and just support myself through school.
This time last year I got laid off from the part-time office job. (Right before the holidays) My Grandma & Aunt had fallen ill and both passed away on the same day before the holidays (and a day before my finals). I was so stressed on how I was going to be able to provide for them & mentally stressed from losing my family members. Instead of letting me get get down about it & despite not having a job, I still gave what I could for Christmas. Despite the losses in my family and the affect it had on me emotionally, I still aced my finals and got through the semester.
This time last year I was signed with a smaller agency as an influencer, only to cut ties from them shortly after. For several months I struggled on what I would do with my career(if I was meant to be just an influencer or model). I was still going to school full time. I started landing paid collabs off Instagram- not because they asked me, because I asked for it. I kept focusing on myself over the summer, and influencing while traveling(doing what I had worked towards for years) and pushing myself toward a success I had imagined. After my summer travels I had recieved an email from a wonderful woman at @wilhelminamodels in LA. I landed a dream job as a signed model to curve board! Sometimes I still can’t believe I’m a *real* model.
I just wanted to share this story as some sort of motivation to everyone. Don’t give up on yourself and your dreams because nothing is impossible. -Sav

‘My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don’t know.’ 🧐
A traditional English pub, 'The Sherlock Holmes' provides locals with British culinary classics and thirst quenching pints 🍻. Bonus, it's just a short 5-minute walk from Embankment tube station.
Not only is it a welcoming pub, but it is also home to an excellent replica of Holmes and Watson's study 📚 and sitting room. Originally assembled for the Festival of Great Britain, visitors have been welcomed since 1957 to enjoy the large collection of objects and photographs related to the characters from the books and adaptations. 📷: @mylondonfairytales#VisitLondon#VisitEngland#TheSherlockHolmes
Sylvia Plath at the Grand Canyon, August 1959. From “The Letters of Sylvia Plath Volume II, 1956 - 1963” (ed. Steinberg and Kukil). I like this photo because Sylvia is pausing, mid-way through a grand adventure. She looks peaceful and young and at ease. ❤️ I love her work for many reasons, but more than anything, I admire the gift of her authentic voice. If she felt sarcastic, happy, enraptured, angry or despairing—in no matter what context she expressed it—she was entirely that feeling. The truth of it leaps off pages even now.
Her poems are sharp and brilliant, her prose is observant and well crafted. I don’t like to reduce her to biography but these collected letters are like hearing a conversation from another room, snippets of sound from someone you’re very fond of but is just out of reach.

Vodka week Ghost is an ultra-premium vodka like no other. Possessing the power of intrigue, controversy and dark charm.
Ghost Vodka is distilled in the UK using some of the world’s rarest and most unique machinery. From fermenting the British grown wheat to distilling the mash, filtering and bottling in house means the attention to detail is entirely thorough down to the most detailed of intricacies.
To create such a revered beast a 3-tower continuous column distillation machine, a master hand, a watchful eye over, a 16 hour process that condemns the heads and tails is required to achieve alcohol of the purest quality.
Purified and filtered water is then married with the alcohol to create an incredibly pure, smooth and refined vodka. Devilishly sophisticated and dangerously smooth Ghost puts the craft into crafty.
Offering a subtle but mouth-watering honeydew melon like hit leading to a buttery and silky final bow.
Works beautifully when mixed towards citrus or sweet flavours. For the connoisseur simply give it 20 minutes in the freezer to increase viscosity and enjoy or leave to aerate and add shredded basil to intensify aroma and character. #vodka#vodkaghost#bars#bar#bartender#drinks#drink#drinking#drinkup#instadrink#shots#cocktails#cocktail#craftcocktails#cocktailbar#premium#luxury#oldbarrelsgreece#uk#england#british#greece#recipes#drinkresponsibly#cheers
