13 YEARS! 😆 Where does the time go! I’ve just scrolled all the way back through my personal insta account to find the second photo. Taken on the second night after we met. I went to Australia not looking to meet anyone. I was 18. Young. Free. Single. Bank with funds to have the year of my life! I learnt so much about myself and being independent and had a blast! Meeting Mr Hart happened right at the beginning of my travels and I just knew that it was something to pursue. He surprised me with a visit to Perth (yes he flew back to Oz after knowing me for 2 weeks, ridiculous). BUT it just made everything all the more romantically surreal. 13 years, 2 homes, a wedding, one baby and a whole load of disagreements later we are us. 😂 I’d love to know the story of you. Share a pic and tell your story ❤️ #ourstory
Had a fabulous time with @lktxx and @michael_leger This is a perfect example that a shoot does not have to wait till summer or the weekend. We shot this in 2hrs, on a Monday at 4pm, in the city, in winter! Arguably, one of the least favourable times of the year made for a beautiful evening capturing beautiful people 📸

Four years ago today I said yes to marrying this man that I easily call my best friend. So i thought it’d be fun to share our engagement story. Read below ⬇️
It was a Thursday and I completely guessed it was coming 😆. My husband is not very stealth with surprises... he’s the kind of guy whose like “I have a surprise for you” (instead of keeping it a surprise) and then ten minutes later tells me what it is 😂.... Anyway, I guessed all day it was happening but because he was staying completely calm and collected it actually started throwing me off a little bit. He picked me up for a date night and he relived our first date by taking me back to each place we went on our very first date. He was in no rush to be anywhere so then I started second guessing if it was actually happening and was looking for any clues, but it seemed like I would have noticed a little box in his jacket or pocket if he had a ring and I couldn’t see anything (😂, I’m not good at surprises either. Very impatient 😂). He then drove me down to Granville Island (a very beautiful market place in Vancouver, BC) as he knew it’s one of my favourite places and he started getting very anxious and basically running me through Granville island. I started figuring out what was happening. He took me to the top of the highest little mountain in Granville island that beautifully overlooks the city landscape and is just gorgeous especially this time of year and before I could even blink he was down on one knee holding the ring in his fingers (hence why I couldn’t find a box 😂). It was pouring rain like it is today and yet it was beautiful! He was SO excited that he actually slipped and ending up sliding down the hill which was absolutely hilarious and ended or engagement story perfectly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, two kids later, I’m so grateful for the continual constant laughs like that, that occur daily ❤️😆. Share some of your engagement stories with me!

As promised, here's the video of Sable! Sable speaks modern fairytale for the bride looking to be princess-like and whimsical without sacrificing a note of seduction for her wedding day look. A heavily beaded V-neck dropped waist bodice and underarm cutouts offer modern glamour, before flowing into a full A-line skirt of soft tulle that feels positively princess-like.

this month has been crazy busy at work with Christmas right around the corner and with other stressors hitting us left and right. there are so many moving parts that it can get pretty overwhelming at times...and i’m not even talking about wedding planning! which honestly, has been the last thing on both our minds...with so much uncertainty and change that await us, i’m thankful for God’s comfort and sovereignty. He is GOOD and He is FOR US. there is nothing more reassuring and trust worthy than that🙏🏼
“I will spend an eternity loving you, caring for you, respecting you, showing you every day that I hold you as high as the stars.”
Another swoon-able photo from Alex + Josh’s urban Denver engagement session 🥰
When you convince your good friend the courthouse is not how you celebrate this special moment in your life..she creates this beautiful wedding with the help of her amazing wedding planner Kasie Curland! So happy to be there to capture it all ❤️ you guys!!

Everyone Should Bring Their Doggo To Their Engagement Sesh From Now On 🐕 And If You Don’t Have A Dog, Any Animal Will Do Just Fine 😍
A year ago, Kenton and I packed up our lives in California to make the trek to our new home in North Carolina. My fourth time moving away from family (and hopefully the last!). After moving away that many times, I've learned a lot about what to expect and how to handle this big life change. In talking with friends and family, I’ve heard a lot of “I’d love to live somewhere else or move away, but I can’t leave my family.” With so many of you curious about moving away, I wanted to share my story and the things I've learned.
Click the link in my profile 💕 for the story of my four big moves and 12 lessons I've learned along the way.
Have you moved away from family, or considered moving away? Why did you decide for or against it? I’d love to hear your story!
— revisiting some of my older shoots & came across this sweet anniversary morning out in the Hill Country. I love digging back through the beginnings of my work ~ some shots and edits make me cringe not gonna lie, but coming across moments like this makes up for it ✨
