(repost from @recipe_tin )⁣ .⁣ 💡Find out the BIGGEST mistake why most people FAIL on #ketodiet ☹️ & how to FIX it 😊 (⏩ Link in bio )⁣ 😍 Tag someone who would love this 😋⁣ ⏩ Don't forget to share and follow us @ketochallengeig⁣ .⁣ INGREDIENTS⁣ Ultra Crispy Parmesan Crusted Chicken . ⁣ 500 g / 1 lb chicken breast (2 pieces) ⁣ 1 egg ⁣ 1 garlic clove , minced (optional) ⁣ Salt and pepper ⁣ 125 g / 4 oz / 1 1/4 cups shredded parmesan (NOT finely grated) ⁣ 2 tbsp butter (or more oil) ⁣ 1 tbsp olive oil . ..⁣ Directions⁣ 1. Cut each breast in half horizontally to make 4 steaks. If they are much thicker than 1.75 cm / 3/4" thick (at the thickest point), pound a bit. ⁣ Whisk egg, garlic, pinch of salt and pepper. ⁣ 2. Dredge chicken in egg, then place in parmesan CUT SIDE DOWN. Press, then turn. Coat with extra parmesan, press. Shake off excess. (PS Cut side = better golden crust cause it’s flat, so we want to coat with extra parm). 3. Melt butter and heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Put chicken in, DO NOT MOVE, cook 3 minutes until golden and crispy (press lightly with spatula). Turn with tongs, DO NOT ⁣ MOVE, cook 3 min again. Serve! ⁣ Great with lemon wedges and for ultimate low carb, serve over cauliflower mash and fennel ⁣ yoghurt slaw!   • Down another 3.8lbs since Friday’s weigh in 🔥 . For those of you new to my page... I completed a 7 day fast on Friday. Friday - Friday I lost 11lbs. I ate from 4pm on Fri- 6pm on Saturday and then started back on my fast. . I’m 43 hrs into this weeks fast. I feel amazing. I just weighed myself and I’m down almost 4 lbs! Ok, this is kinda nuts🤪. . Just so we’re clear... I’m not losing pounds of fat everyday. It’s a combination of fat and water, but hey... I’ll take it! I’m not only seeing the change on the scale, I can see it on my body too🙌💃 . Today I’ve had my coffee with a small amount of heavy cream, a few sips of my ACV concoction and water. I will have a hot green tea in a bit and I might have 1 cup of bone broth later today. I’m not in the mood for it now, so we’ll see😊 . How did you guys do on your fast? How did you feel? Was it as bad as you thought?😁 Let everyone know your experience. Everyone is different but it’s good to know what to expect 🤗 . After this last few weeks and the scare of a lifetime I have learned a few things about myself. 1~ I have wasted WAY to much time and years worrying about my weight and what size of pants I fit into. 2~ I have let my life control me instead of me controlling it. 3~ There is so much good in the world, positive, happy moments, and they are happening every day and every minute of every day. Cherish those moments. 3~ DO NOT focus on the negative, it only magnifies the negative. 4~ Take the vacation, go for a walk, leave the dishes, let the kids stay up past bedtime and read the story. Don’t think you have more time. Eventually your time will end. Make the most of every day. 5~ God is good. He is aware of us and loves us. Our journey matters to him. 6~ Keep a journal, I always thought..why? I have nothing to say. Then this all happened and I thought, if I were to die I wouldn’t be able to say anything else. I want to leave some part of me here for my husband, kids, grandkids, so that they can read my words, my thoughts and in some small way maybe they will feel me with them. Maybe they will get to know me better through my journal. So now I keep one. 🙂 7~ Relax, be silly and laugh. 8~ Disconnect more. Put the phone, Ipad, Xbox, switch, whatever it may be..put it down and pay attention to those around you. 9~ allow others to see you vulnerable, it can strengthen your relationships. I have a couple other recipes in mind for more later. ▪▪▪ Anyways you're all gonna ask for the recipe and, as previously stated i'm a pinterest whore so if you search for turkey chorizo burger you'll find it. But then I did that fun thing where you think you’re committed to a goal and at the first possible opportunity, you abandon it for a six pack of chocolate chip muffins from the grocery store bake shop. Then you eat three in the car before you get out of the parking lot and as you’re driving home (on an extremely wooded street) you’re like “what the actual fuck am i doing?” and you roll down your passenger side window, take the liner off the remaining muffins and release them into the Wild. Not proud of any of that. I mean, sort of proud I didn’t eat all six. But I feel like this is the equivalent of catching a kid smoking and making them smoke the whole pack. I am so carbed up, my body doesn’t know what to do with itself. Bonus! I’m sick. So I’m going to fast (tea and broth allowed) for as long as I can (aiming for 24 hours but we’ll see) and get ready to get back in the game.
