I recently went to 1000 Steps Beach in Laguna to explore and check out the entrance to the secret pools. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This pool that I am walking along is not the secret pool I am referring to...This exact pool is actually not hidden. It can be found at the south end of the beach, but it only has maybe a foot of water in it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The pools I am referring to are the "private" pools that require you to go through a CAVE to get to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First of all, going through a sea cave is a little risky. I always wonder what would happen if the waves started coming in and I got stuck in there. Or what if I was at the secret pool and lost track of time, the tide comes in and I am trapped on a tiny beach. Second, these secret pools sit below private property, so I wonder if people are actually allowed to go there anyway? Seems like risky business.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I didn't go through that cave. And I didn't get to see the secret pools of 1000 Steps Beach. This world has so many beautiful places that I would love to see, but sometimes the risk is too high. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What do you think...would you do it, considering the risks?

Just when you thought you knew your city, you find unexpected hidden gems (aka shooting locations). 💫
A great place to watch the whole city of San Diego and the last stop in Coronado city. On the opposite side is very popular places from tourists perspective - USS Midway Museum. The museum consists of the aircraft carrier Midway. The ship houses an extensive collection of aircraft, many of which were built in Southern California. We planned to visit it but there was not enough time. It will be the first stop during the next visit of San Diego.

III MISS IT! The day we completed the Cali hat trick 🏜🏄🏼♀️🎿 desert hike, ocean surf (ft. coast guard escort), then snow skiing over 3 days. Trying to think up an Ontario hat trick for us to complete when @vejenna’s home. Any ideas? Also, honourable mention to our chauffeur @danielllongo 🏎🏁

It’s my favourite rock formation in #Yosemite...the iconic #HalfDome. But I can’t decide if I prefer it at sunset glowing or during the day, all snow capped! What do you think? (Swipe left to see)
•Trusting Him in my Process•
As I reflect on this past crazy year, I realized that this journey started way back to the start of my 20s...
My 20s up til recently has been one of the darkest times of my life, emotionally, mentally and especially spiritually. (I truly went through a mid-20s existential crisis 😂🙄.) And throughout the years, I was filled with hurt, anger, and intense bitterness in my heart from unfulfilled expectations/disappointments/my own immaturities.
And as I finally close this chapter of my life, I am constantly reminded of God’s constant faithfulness in me and over my life. Even when I wasn’t. That in those times of pain, He was El Roi, seeing my wounds and feeling my pain. And in those times of weakness, He was Yahweh Yireh, providing even when I couldn’t offer or give anything back.
And entering my last year of my mid-twenties, I’m not only truly rediscovering my identity and who I am but also learning how to trust God in not only my life but also my process. Because it is His and my own, co-creating together.
Day 11: There is a burst of street art on the corner of California and Fremont Street. 🎨⠀
