Wherever you are in life is exactly where you need to be right now.⠀⠀
I’m currently thinking about what I might’ve done to deserve a cold and break the no illness streak (mimimi) 😇 my thoughts on this: I did something in the past that made me get sick and I take FULL responsibility for it (obviously). And that’s the point: I believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and that certain situations repeat again and again until we learn and grow from it. So instead of whining about why x happens to you think about what the current situation wants to teach YOU, in which way it wants YOU to be a better person. Maybe it wants you to end a bad habit, sleep more, eat more vitamins or eat less outside (maybe don’t skip your training tho 😂). The universe will keep hitting you with the same lessons again and again until you learn ✌🏻 So you’re exactly where you need to be because you are in life where you are as a result of your previous life (it led you there) and because you need to be there so you can grow in the direction that the universe wants you to grow. For me it means: no more drinking out of public glasses, no more skipping fruits, no more putting an all-nighter during cold winter days. Everything’s connected, take care 🙏🏻⠀⠀
Do YOU believe in that connection❓
btw: I’m almost fully recovered. Thanks for the cute blessings via dm and I really really hope you’re doing well :,)⠀⠀
Hair washed AND make-up?! Must be a rest day 😅💁🏻♀️. Green eyes POPPIN’ though boi 👀. #chameleon .
Okay do I have your attention now? Cool!😆 Question, are you a “Negative Nancy” when it comes to social media?? Honestly, I think it’s unfortunate that social media gets a bad rap. Granted, negative opinions typically come from those who either abuse it themselves (no discipline) OR they just don't understand the connection and networking abilities it provides.🤷🏻♀️
I use social media platforms daily bc I run an online coaching business but regardless of my business, I'm 100% thankful I kept an open mind to it. Technology can be AMAZING when we put it to good use. How else could I work alongside & help change the lives of other women & men from literally ALL across the globe, right from my phone or laptop?? Many of which are now some of the most cherished people in my life. Like, what?! Some I’ve never even met in person but have be blessed to know on a deeper level thanks to social media (and video chats 🥰). We get to be humans. Connect with people near us but also those far away. The problem isn't social media. It's how we use it. If you're just mindlessly scrolling rather than being productive and intentional... if you have more negativity & petty drama in your feed than positive & inspiring... if you're not trying to stay in touch, contribute and create impact for a bigger purpose.... too much of any mindless behavior will have ill effects on the joy & fulfillment in your life. Just like late night snacking or binge drinking (I’ve done both 😏). When we're disciplined, there's balance. .
SM has provided a platform of enrichment in so many ways; to learn, educate, inspire, support, grow. If you're the person that looks at it as something that ruins relationships, takes away from your family, leaves you feeling “less than” bc you can't stop comparing or read too much into the "highlight" reel of those you follow... then I encourage you to do some self-reflection. Your mind is a powerful thing. Clean up your feed, use SM for the greater good, meet some badass humans, change lives, stay connected w/ friends & family & also—UNPLUG every now & then!! 💖✌
