The Spanish moss hanging from these cypress trees was so thick I could hardly see the branches or leaves. About all you could see were those beautiful club feet (trunks). 😍
I’ve been sitting on this one for a while because I wasn’t sure if I liked it. I would occasionally return to it with fresh eyes to see if it would grow on me... after letting it season for a while, I must admit, it has grown on me. I would really like to know what you think. Thanks!
To the post yesterday, there were a lot of good comments and thoughts. Two that stood out were when @_two_braids_ said “I wish more people connected with nature because it feeds their soul instead of getting out there for a photo.” @Bohemian213 said “greed, superficiality, and self absorption have long existed, however our massive population makes it an issue for our Mother Earth. Do what we can, hope and work to make those ripples positively affect those who’ve strayed to emptiness and have lost themselves to vacuous materialism.... Those who can lead the lost to a better place need to step up.” That’s the main reason I stay on social media. Hoping I can reach more people and connect them with education and a positive perspective about the world around them.
Thank you for being such a wonderful community.
The reason I want this page to grow is that I hope we can reach a larger percentage of the population and inspire them to have perspectives that include our Earth and its inhabitants.
What would you want the general population to know or learn about most?
More new work featuring the one and only @brittkmcgee killin’ it for @shopdyi. HMU perfection by @biancalinettehmu and the amazing photo assistance by @aescottdesigns. Loved getting to work with this team to create some cool new work for their meditation campaign to roll in the new year.
Shot on @canonusa 5D Mark IV and lit with @profotousa B2 lights. One light behind and slightly to camera left to augment natural light spilling in onto the porch and highlight the beautiful lines created by the outfit and pose. Modifier was an @elinchrom_ltd 69” Rotalux Octa.
Hanging with Mr. Cooper! Anyone else remember that show?

“Well everybody's dancin' in a ring around the sun
Nobody's finished, we ain't even begun
So take off your shoes, child, and take off your hat
Try on your wings and find our where it's at”
This is Felipe. I met Felipe after my first day of walking on el camino. We sat at the same table along with several other pilgrims during our evenings feast. His presence seemed very joyous, as his smile is quite contagious. I didn’t see him after that dinner until the next afternoon when coincidentally we stayed at the same hostel. He gave me lavender essential oils to put on my pillow so I could sleep better. A few days later when my feet were swollen from blisters, we stayed at the same hostel again, along with a few of our fellow pilgrims who we had eaten with on the first night. Both Felipe and the owner of the hostel, Natalia convinced me to listen to my body and stay an extra night there- I could barely walk. These few days were emotional and painful. Felipe helped tend to my blisters (i know that’s gross) and to keep my spirits light as he shared stories of his time going to beauty school in New York and shared photos of his scuba diving adventures in his home country, He was a fast friend. .

fresh snow on the valley floor ❄️🏞 after the storm hit, pretty much everywhere you turned looked something like this, spots become almost hard to recognize, freezing, but beautiful...✨
Lived my Sound Of Music Dreams in an unexpected part of the world.
Place: Mt Cook.
Hike: Hooker Lake Trail. Trail was moderate and took us about 4 hours. The view is breathtaking! Easily one of my favorites of New Zealand. That place is magical.
