  • Hello book lovers, hope you are all doing fine. Today, I wrote my last exam for this semester *phew*. With nothing to do for the next two weeks, I will get back to my book. I haven’t read a word since I last posted here, so I am in no position to talk about this book. Hopefully, I will get some 50-60 pages done tonight. Glad to hear so many positive reviews for this one🤞

  • Happy Monday!!! I had a pretty relaxing weekend with my family and no I didn’t get any reading done. I did however catch up on This is Us! 🤷🏽‍♀️ TV shows need love too. 😂 . . . What’s a show you’re watching now? I probably won’t get much more TV in now that I caught up on This is Us but I will watch Bird Box as soon as I finish the book! . . . This was my 2/2 @bookoutlet haul and it practically filled up my bookcart 😬. I guess I need to buy more books to fill that gap 🙈. . . . #bookhaul #bookoutlet #bookcart #bookstack #bookspine #bookstagram #bookish #bookaddict

  • Tak się zastanawiam, co przed chwilą przeczytałem? Sprawdzam na empik.com, ze ta książka to sensacja/kryminał/thriller. No cóż. Stwierdzam jednoznacznie, że to żadne z powyższych. Najprędzej dałbym ją do działu nieudane komedie. #bookstagram #bookhaul #bookreview #bookreviews #bookreader #bookforyou #booklover #bookmark #bookcommunity #books #bookaholic #bookgram #book #czytanienieboli #czytajksiążki #czlowiekuczytaj #czytaj #czytam #newpost #ksiazkadlaciebie #książka #książki #watch #library📚 #readbooks

  • 📚[BOOK HAUL]📚 . Salut l'ami ! Comment tu vas ? • Here's an extremely cheesy edit coming your way XD The Kane Chronicles were the first books I finished at the start of the year, and have been thinking of editing a photo like this one. XD Life update: I'm always down and cranky, and I know it's making my parents worry about me, which is making me crankier, but I just can't help how I feel you know? I want things to be perfect for once, which is obviously impossible. Anyway, I took a "beautification" course this week, and got a certificate. (So now I can legally open a beauty parlour if I wanted 😂) I know that was outta the blue, and definitely not something I'd normally take interest in, (and I don't XD) but I promised myself I'd go out of my comfort zone this year and try out new things that I wouldn't normally consider. It hasn't been working out that great yet, but I know things will pick up soon (maybe). I plan on taking a barista course too. 🤷 Idk. . . QOTD: What's that one goal you have in your mind for this year that you're firmly set out to do? . . . #Bookstagram #Bookstagrammer #Bookworm #booknerd #bookaholic #bookaddict #Bibliophile #bookish #bookstagrambd #bookphotography #LibraryofBookstagram #BookRecommendations #Booksofinstagram #bookhaul #bookpics #picsart #snapseed #vsco #winterfeed #rickriordan #thekanechronicles

@faroeditorial Livro do mês do clube de leitura @estripuliasliterarias. . . Quem aí já leu? O clube acontece dia 20/01 as 16h na livraria Saturno. . . . . . #faroeditorial #RioVERMELHO #triler #suspense #leitura #clubedolivro #Janeiro #amyLloyd #bookaholic #bookish

  • "Ordinary peoples Extraordinary lives" *Book Review* . This book #threethousandstitches is a collection of short stories which Sudha ajji experienced through her own youth, family life, and travels. In this, the first story i.e the title itself is three thousand stitches where she tells her experience while working with sex workers and helped them to rehabilitate them and how she made the most difficult transition by making almost thousands of helpless women who were gripped in the prostitution to an independent women. . Other stories involved her determination and struggles during her college days as being the only female in an engineering college. . When after many years in 1996 Infosys foundation established and started providing aid to underprivileged sections of society. She came along various people which changed her vision and life. 🐣 The three most favourites of them are:- 1- Three thousand stitches 2- No place like home 3- I can't we can While reading the Ist and 2nd I was choked with emotions and by the end of the story shed some tears. We people never realise that how blessed we all are, we have almost everything and always backed with a supporting family and still complain, while on the other side there are people who long to be with their family, for good education and for love. 🐣 And the last one " I can't, we can" and I was literally shocked and was like ( Aisa ho ka hai kya). We people should understand that the things that we try out of fancy and coolness turned out to be the poisonous and the most regretful things in our life. . . #bookholic #bookstagram #novel #bookish #bookstore #bookstagrammer #epicreads #bookreviewer #bookreview #bookblogger #instaread #bookstagramindia #igbooks #india #newdelhi #sudhamurty #bookcommunity #bookclub #ilovereading #penguinbooks #culturetripbooks #bibliophile #booksofinstagram #bookhaul #weekendreadingwithsonam

  • By far the most interesting thing I read this week was Tribes by Sebastian Junger. ⠀ ⠀ A fascinating dive into how stone age communities offer more support to their warrior classes than modern society and how PTSD only forms in certain communities. It's packed with fascinating info (such as you're more likely to suffer from PTSD if you were abused as a child or were miles from the front line) and how populations afterwards miss the intense shared war experience.⠀ ⠀ There's much of interest for building successful Mastermind groups - and indeed why the ones I already create stick together so long. If community is part of your job (and for most of us it is) then you'll find this book fascinating.⠀ ⠀ As is The Undoing Project engagingly written and packed with information on economic psychology and how we make so very many mistakes with our thinking. It's a history of the friendship of Daniel Kahneman & Amos Tversky, their work changed the way we think forever. I was riveted. Again, much of use for client work. ⠀ ⠀ For fiction this week I dived deep into foolish crime novels including The Blue Movie Murders by Ellery Queen. I've never read anything by Queen before, despite him being much beloved by my mother - an avid reader, as it won't surprise you to learn. ⠀ ⠀ To my shame the first reason I was drawn to it by the first line of the description 'Blue film and blood-red murder!' How could I resist? ⠀ ⠀ Sadly it was downhill from there including a particularly unpleasant 70s feminist character who refused help with doors, getting a drink and someone paying for dinner. I understand the movement's moved on (go with politeness being important now) but no wonder feminism became a dirty word for years.⠀ The other throwback sexist rubbish this week was 'The Saint'. A poor man's Bond, filled full of women in bikinis melting into the arms of men who've just disarmed them in more ways than one. Sigh. Dreadful, and yet I listened on.⠀ I offset all this with The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes read delightfully by Derek Jacobi. I'm not a huge Holmes fan, but to Jacobi could read a laundry list and I'd sit enthralled. That voice.⠀ What have you read this week? #rethinkReading

☝️😂 📖 Also hier kommt die Beschreibung zum Emma Mills Buch: {For Sophie, small town life has never feltsmall. With her four best friends—loving, infuriating, and all she could ever ask for—she can weather any storm. But when Sophie’s beloved Acadia High School marching band is selected to march in the upcoming Rose Parade, it’s her job to get them all the way to LA. Her plan? To persuade country singer Megan Pleasant, their Midwestern town’s only claim to fame, to come back to Acadia to headline a fundraising festival. The only problem is that Megan has very publicly sworn never to return. What ensues is a journey filled with long-kept secrets, hidden heartbreaks, and revelations that could change everything—along with a possible fifth best friend: a new guy with a magnetic smile and secrets of his own.} #thisadventureends #firstandthen #foolishhearts #bookstagram #bookworm #booknerd #buch #reader #bookphotography #flowers #bookstagram #instabook #booklove #instareads #new #machtlesenwiedercool #bibliophile #bookhaul #igreads #bookaddict #ya #youngaduld #instabook #pink #orange #roses

---- #libri #libro #libridaleggere #lettura #instalibri #instabook  #consiglidilettura #leggere #leggeremania #leggeresempre #leggerefabene #book #bookstagram #bookphoto #bookporn #reading #bookshelf #bookphotography #letteratura #lettori #bookshelves #bookhaul #bompiani #joeldicker #librisulibri #librisulcomodino #ticonsigliounlibro #bookhaul #bookhangover

Pekala kitap burda bitiyor mu? Hayır.
