Travel Diary Post, No. 7: Make Waves
Like a wave, we’re reminded of how life can have many heights. Heights of lows of hitting the rocks and of highs being caught. No matter the height, we’re here to make waves and ride them.
Waves come and go, but the beauty of them is that they always come back. In life, we sometimes “lose ourselves” either in a relationship or trying to fit in with a certain group that we had no business trying to squeeze ourselves into. When in reality staying true to ourselves was + is the real WIN 🙌🏽🏆!
When we go through the wave(s) of losing oneself, WE always eventually do return to who we are! No matter the struggle we face, we come back stronger + sounder in US. At the end of it all, continue making ripples because they make waves, so remember that even the tiniest step can make a huge impact.
Comment 🌊🌊🌊🌊 because you’re making them 😆🙌🏽

“The two most important days are the day that you are born, and the day you find out why” -Mark Twain
I am moving through a season of drastic change. Divorce, learning how to navigate a world of single parenting with 2 toddlers, and slowly rediscovering who I am. Not who I was as a wife, not who I am as a Mom, who I am. Do you ever have those thoughts? Who are YOU? At your core?
As a woman, typically we get married and take on new roles as wife, stepmom, mom. Things that were once “me” becomes “we”.. What happens with that “we”, becomes a “me” again? Do you remember what that “me” felt like? What that “me” thought & dreamed of?
I am slowly starting to peel back my layers. Revealing and discovering who I am, what I stand for and what I want. It is a very powerful, yet terrifying feeling to start discovering yourself & what you know to be true and where you’re headed.
Stand in your truth, stand in your power & never apologize for who YOU are.
The day I discover why I was put on this Earth is coming...I can feel it in my bones. I pray that when that day comes, I embrace it with all of me and never look back🙏 why were you put on this Earth? What is your purpose?
