What a memorable morning at the Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Bali. Who of you have already been to Bali? If not, are you planning to go there? 😉

„Dream in Yellow“ - Skarisøy, Lofoten Islands 🏠
If you ask me what country I’d be willing to move over to then it would definitely be Norway. I mean how could you say no to something like this? 😍 What colour would you paint your house? 😊 .
Note: this shot was entirely edited with one of my presets. Go check them out if you haven't done so yet (link‘s in my bio) and don't forget to use the hashtag #MDPfeature for a chance to be featured. ✌🏻
Btw my new calendar 2019 is out now 📆

This amazing girl, my middle child, celebrates a birthday today and it reminds me just how quickly these years pass. They really don’t want presents, but rather for us, as their parents, to BE present.
Just a man and his dog exploring Proxy Falls on a Sunday afternoon. A Sunday well spent if you ask me!
I couldn’t get enough of this big Bernese fluff ball so if you feel like you need some puppy love in your day @mammothscout will put a smile on your dial!
We were in Strasbourg visiting their beautiful Christmas Markets just a week before Tuesdays attack. The shooting occurred on our street, just 30 meters from the apartment we stayed in. When things like this happen (unfortunately, this is not the first time), I receive calls and texts from loved ones asking, “Is it safe? Will you keep traveling?” The answer is an emphatic, “Yes”. In fact, I am even more motivated to travel after this. ⠀
Travel is the best way I know to cultivate love, empathy, acceptance, understanding, and open mindedness. When we travel to a new place, we are forced to rely on basic human connection and the kindness of strangers. Meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and seeing different ways of life have enriched my life beyond measure and changed the way I see the world. I will continue to venture out and open myself up to the vulnerability of the world in hopes of gaining a deeper understanding of it, and in turn a deeper understanding of myself.⠀
I urge you to travel as well. Even if it is within your own city to an area you have never been. See something new, meet someone with a different story than your own and open yourself up to the vulnerability of the world to be changed by it.⠀
Spread love to every corner of the earth, y’all ❥

A FUN fact about Sapporo is that it's the snowiest city on the planet with close to 20 feet of snow a year. That's about four times the annual snowfall in Moscow! Yes guys! SAPPORO IS COLDER THAN YOUR EX! Thank you, Next. 🙄😂 (Na-hugutan ko pa talaga to eh noh? 😝)
Other than Sapporo being the most popular Asian beer, did you know that it is also the oldest? And it’s FUN to know that when characters drink booze in Japanese cartoons they usually reach for beer. And you know what it is. 🍻
And today, we have come to the most dreaded day of every travel: the departure. They say all
good things come to an end but in this case, it’s just the beginning. A beginning of an even greater friendship with the most amazing TravelPALs! I’ll edit out the caption later kse naiiyak na ako sa bus. Di ko na kaya ituloy ang farewell speech! 😝
I had the time of my life having soooo much FUN in Sapporo with the best team! You’ll all have a special place in my heart and that’s a FACT! ~ Mark Roa, 26, PHILIPPINES! 🇵🇭
@flypal now flies to Sapporo and you guys SHOULD visit this beautiful prefecture asap.
Thank you so much to our Travel PALs @hydroflask@jansportphilippines , myPALroam Wifi and of course Philippine Airlines for connecting us all. 💙
My kind of paradise 🙌🧖🏻♀️

Oh, it was hot that day. May, and already a desert-like heat swathed the antiquities of Rome. A desert heat, but humid too, as if the desert had developed a raging crush on the sun and was sweating profusely in its presence. The type of heat most people seek to escape through shade, white clothing or the innards of an air-conditioned bar. The type of heat I could gleefully marinate in until the word "jacket" is eradicated from my personal lexicon. It clung to every crevace, not discerning between thickly sunscreened brows and undersides of Roman ruins built in 179 BC.
Did you feel transported just now? Lifted from the mundane operation taking place in your kitchen or your swiveling office chair? We as a human race love the reeling sensation of being raised from our banality, inspired by the lives of others. There's nothing wrong with this; I think it's a hunger for the magic that exists in the world, which balances its violence with inexplicable beauty. The magic we're too embarassed to admit we kind of believe in, or at least hope for. The magic I have at my fingertips, to transport the both of us to Rome and back before you can can spell the word "cappuccino."
