There was a big gap from competing in varsity high school sports and finally finding my passion for Fitness.
You can call it my “college years”. Not too much direction and plenty of obstacles.
However, now my vision is so damn clear.
I strive to continue to take massive action and make sh!t happen.

Was very intuitive today on that last pull for Snatches and they felt 100x better but 100x slower; I think that was cause i was really trying to get a better bar path 🤷♂️ Some accessorizing today! The big lifts are cool and all, but if you don't learn to train your body as an entire unit, imo, everything else is worthless! 🤷♂️
-Close Chain Cable Presses right into a mechanical drop set changing the degree of difficulty by raising my chest, allowing me to pump out some more direct chest work
-Elevated Plank Unilateral Renagade Rows and prolly the hardest degree of difficulty for me when it has come to my stability work! I have to squeeze everything to focus on not pushing over the bench, squeezing my core so hard that my lateral lean is minimal and most importantly, my shoulder stability to hold myself up on 1 arm!

Did some good old fashioned bodybuilding work just to get back to the basics. Every week I try to do 4-5 trainings that are mainly focused on my athletic development and 1-2 workouts more focused on bodybuilding. It gives me time to rest while I can work on improving other facets of my training. With this method of work distribution, I avoid risks of overtraining or getting injured because my body didn’t get enough time to rest. Because taking good care of your body is essential if you want to stay consistent and on track with your progression. 👊🏻🙌🏻
If this could somehow make it to @dwyanewade it would mean the world to me. Dwyane Wade was the reason why I even picked up a basketball and took the game seriously. So many people of trying to be like Mike, but I wanted to be like Wade. The very first professional basketball game I watched all the way through was the Heat vs. Lakers on March 17, 2005. Wade dropped 27 and instantly made me want to be just like him. I almost never put a basketball down afterwards.
Basketball has truly saved me. There are so many times where I went to find a basketball court after something tragic occurred in my life.
My Uncle Larry Wise was a Chicago Native who passed away on August 31, 2008. This was my freshman year in high school. He was an amazing man an equally amazing basketball player. When he transitioned I completely lost my direction. But basketball grounded me again. That basketball season we won district and I won team MVP.
I dedicated that season to him. But trying to emulate you is what even gave me such a chance. I do not know if it is because you both are from Chicago. But the guidance you extended from afar by being a great role model was much needed. Sade to see you retire but it has been a Sweet 16 years 🐐Thank you 🙏🏿 and God bless.
