POST SHOW FEELS & current condition
Been almost a month and dealing with post show is different for everyone. I think one thing a high majority of us have in common is the mental struggle dealing with fat gain. This hit me pretty hard last year, but it was a lesson learnt for this year and I literally couldn't wait to gain weight as many of my closer friends will know, talked about it enough 😅
I've dealt with it by accepting the positive outcomes of gaining a higher bodyfat, 3 main points are:
Mainly you start to feel normal again, dieting changes you, you may not see it but others do, your personality and attitude towards certain life situations change
Your physical performance drastically improves in a matter of weeks. New PBs almost every week
Your social life gets better, you can eat, drink, can spare more time from training and literally live a little better which plays a key role in your personality and attitude mentioned before
Just remember guys and girls, you know you can lose fat, you've done it before and can do it again. Embrace the off-season, as realistically, it's the only time you can make real improvements or you'll be the same next year, and we don't want that do we 💪🏽

It has been a little over a few year without abandoning my fitness journey. It is not easy and nor do I want to make it seems like it was. I can tell you this, exercising, eating healthy and surround yourself with people who uplift you, support you and share the same vision as you will make your journey much more easier. I am not here to be a fitness influencer but I can definitely share my journey with you. In 2016 I found myself depressed due to different factors in life specially living in Haiti where hypocrisy prevails and when you are realizing that substance is one thing that is lack in this society, you have to decide to take matter in hand, and for me Fitness was my cure, it quickly turned into my passion, and now I have turn my passion into a lifestyle. Being fit is a gift maintaining it is the biggest challenge. With all types of nonsense out there we do not even know what we are eating. My thing is TAKE IT BACK TO THE BASICS. KEEP IT SIMPLE. I HATE training abs..Here's what I currently do for them, I can almost guarantee this will work for anyone:
A circuit of 4 exercises, two for the lower abs, one for obliques, and one for upper.
🤓SHOULDER REHAB: winging 🦅🔎scapula
Scapular winging in and of itself doesn’t always translate to treatment being necessary. Many overhead athletes have scapular winging, but have NO pain, limited ranges of motion, or strength deficits. However, when a client comes in with shoulder pain and a long thoracic nerve issue (which powers the serratus anterior), it’s worth examining more closely and trying to get the serratus anterior to work better. The client has been dealing with intermittent shoulder pain, especially during loaded mid to overhead activities and press/push movements. Here are a few exercises he’s working on:
1️⃣Single-arm wall slides
2️⃣Scapular protraction presses with a band
3️⃣Scapular protraction walkouts
4️⃣Prowler walk w/scap protraction

Should be easy to setup in most squat racks, take note of starting position of my feet, otherwise you’ll be too close. I’ll probably use my fat bar which will be easier on wrists/hands.

A guy who I consider a great friend/mentor of mine once recommended a book to me that spoke about tapping into the feeling of one of our greatest moments and it stated that we can relive that "greatest moment" every single day and carry that same energy to dominate in every other area of our lives.
At first, I couldn't remember what that "greatest moment feeling" was for me but needless to say I've found it and have fallen completely in love with it again. I'm really living, LIVING now ⚡🔋
