📝 @yaygallery de “Cismani peyzajlar” adlı qrup sərgisi və oradakı əsərlər ilə yaxından tanış olmuşdum.Azərbaycanın bir sıra istedadlı rəssamlarının əsərlərindən nümunələr həm göz oxşayır,eyni zamanda düşündürürdü.
✔️Rəsm tablosunun müəllifi Müasir Azərbaycan rəssamlığının ən qabaqcıl üzvlərindən biri Niyaz Nəcəfovdur.Üslubu emossional və bir o qədər ifadəlidir.Belə ki,həyatı,ətrafdakı hadisələri və onlara baxışını özünəməxsıs şəkildə “bədii dil” ilə əsərlərində ifadə edir.Yaradıcılığında əsasən qaranlıq palitradan istifadə edərək fikrini incəsənət sevərlərə çatdırır.Əsərlərdə ümumbəşəri mövzular ilə adi həyat arasında bir vəhdət təşkil edildiyini görmək olar.bu paralel yanaşma rəssamın yaradıcılığını xarakterizə edir..

Today, we are excited to announce an Instagram Takeover by amazing artist, photographer, writer and activist Sophia Louise @eshe.ssanyu … The powerful work she will be showcasing is from her time spent in Skaramagas, Greece working with refugees. •••••
“PEACE banner painted at Skaramagas refugee camp, Greece, September 2017, by some truly courageous and wonderful teenagers and young adults. This banner was born from the sincere and passionate desire from many of the youth at the camp to actively send a message to the WORLD that they want PEACE. Before we made the banner a very dynamic discussion where tears and troubles were shared and seriously intense questions were put forward: "Why does the world hate us?" I remember one young Syrian refugee asking me.
Not only were these young women and men adamant that the atrocities and undignified circumstances which they and their families had experienced MUST STOP, they also spoke about the evil that is genocide, hate, the devastating and heartbreaking reality that faces the Rohinga refugees, homeless and other displaced peoples. The abuse of vulnerability, war, racism, sexism, war-profiteering, all hard-hitting and deeply felt issues among the group. I was moved by the sincerity of their emotions and the urgency of their pleas. We made this banner as a testament to the world we all want to manifest and grow. Languages featured: #Farsi, #Kurdish, #Arabic, #English, and the #onelanguage of #LOVE.”

My drawing of Cole Sprouse is finished!
I have no idea what that background is because I tried to draw a bokeh background but that didn't turned out quite well😅
For this drawing I used Winsor and Newton markers for the base and Caran D'ache and prismacolor premier pencils✏️
Let me know what you think and tag Cole please!
Here’s a pretty amazing hands on approach from an artist with their work. Cecilia Paredes (@ceciliaparedesart) is known for camouflaging herself into her pieces. This statement from the artist provides us with a deeper insight into her mindset, “I wrap, cover or paint my body with the same pattern of the material and re-present myself as part of that landscape. Through this act, I am working on the theme of building my own identification with the entourage or part of the world where I live or where I feel I can call home. My bio has been described as nomadic so maybe this is also a need of addressing the process of constant relocation. There is also the factor in my mind that flora as we know it, is coming to be endangered so with all these preoccupations, I think that in these works, aesthetics bind with the anthropologic in order to register fragments of personal and social memory". She was awarded the Publicacin Libro de Artista by the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain, the First Mention of Honor at the Bienal Centroamericana, as well as first prizes at the Salon Nacional de Grabado, the Salon Nacional de Grabado in Lima, the Municipalidad de Lima for serigraphy, and finally the Universidad Católica in Peru for theatre/lithography. Paredes completed residencies at both Pennsylvania University and the Banff Art Centre in Canada. This semester, I somehow managed to get two of my art pieces on display! The first piece was chosen from among the class and was displayed at the Linda Vista Library. The next piece was part of a group project for the student show. Even though these were small class assignments, I’m still so thrilled to have had this opportunity! I never expected to ever see my work on display, and I’m excited to try to get more of my artwork out there. #studentartshow#artgallery
