Smalls joked and thought I was upset at someone but in all actuality I just found a piece to the puzzle. Quitting smoking is a layered process. I asked God to help me quit smoking a few months ago and got so frustrated when it didn’t come easily. I didn’t understand, I quit smoking cigarettes with ease. I didn’t think I was making any progress until I stopped measuring myself off others perceptions and went with God’s flow. I knew I wanted to quit but I also knew every time I pressured myself I ended up further back than when I started. Instead of shaming myself every time I went to pick up a refill I would say something nice like, I get that this is working for you now but one day it won’t and I’m looking forward to that day. The desire never left my heart but I had to go about it differently. Over the last six months I’ve been cultivating new positive habits that instill strength, discipline, and hand to mouth/ / hand coordination. Today I’m excited to share with y’all a new habit I’m implementing which is weekly combat training. In preparation for future action/adventure roles combat training is inevitable. Getting a jump start makes me feel more confident when I walk into set/an audition.
I know I’m on the path to smoke free living. A path that I won’t double back on because I took the time to understand the process and trusted the plan to get me where I want to be •
