Marcos and Mili, 27 years old. In 2007 we finished high school and went to university where we both got our degrees: Mili is a Kinder garden teacher and Marcos a Business Administrator.
In 2015 we decided to take another path: to follow our hearts, and explore the world. We left our jobs and everything that was familiar and in our comfort zone and we began a personal quest. We went to Australia where we accepted any available job position: Marcos started working at an ice cream shop, then he worked as a gardener, as a labour, at house removals and at a car wash. Mili worked for a while at an ice cream shop as well, and babysitting. We bought a van with our savings and traveled across Australia. After that, we traveled 5 more months as backpackers around Asia where we visited Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India. We filled our eyes with colors and our noses with smells, our feet stepped on different places, our mouths tasted all kinds of flavors, our hands touched different textures and our ears heard countless stories. As time went by, we were feeling more authentic, more real , more connected with nature and with ourselves. We returned to Argentina for a few months, saved a little more, got married and flew to California where we bought a school bus in which we traveled through America.
It's been 3 years since we took that first step and we thank every day that we had the courage of facing our fears, and the social conditions to be ourselves.
We want to encourage you to chase your dreams and work hard to achieve them, even if everyone tells you that it is a crazy idea, that it does not make sense, or that you won’t make it.

I remember pulling into this beach. Not because it was more beautiful or special than any others, but because it was one of the first ones where we noticed the half dozen sun baked men scrambling over the rocks, weighed down with bulging canvas sacks, full to the brim with ocean smooth pebbles and rocks. When we asked what was going on we were told they were collecting rocks to be shipped to the US and distributed to stores like Home Goods and Target, ready for American homes with decorative rock paths and coffee table displays. Now without too much of a commentary on trade and industry I remember being taken a back, thinking "Would people still buy those $10.99 little mesh baggies of aquariam rocks if they knew?". There is a culture today of asking these questions. Where does our stuff come from? Limiting your plastic use, buying local, and reusing. But it goes beyond that. We strive to value another humans existance as much as your own, no matter how far removed it may be. We fall short every day but we keep trying. 📷@everyroadleadstohome#VanlifeMagazine

Late Breakfast in the Alabama Hills. I’d seen this place from a few perspectives a hundred times, but the feel of the sunrise and the way sound escapes out here was all new. I tend to avoid the areas that everyone goes, I’m certain I’ll be back here. 📷 @isaacsjohnston#CamperLifestyle
Don't worry, you don't have to choose💥Comment & Share to your friends👍 It's funny how the little things in life can bring so much enjoyment! Just like how Karmen only needs a tennis ball we really only need a a few things to be happy. The van and our few belongings fulfill all of our basic needs on the road.
What are the little things that you appreciate in life?

#tbt Today marks 6 months since we’ve entered Mexico. Just like that. Half a year. . . The other day we were talking about how much time has to go by in order for someone to consider they’ve lived in a certain city or country. . The conclusion was that if one works there and has a routine, even though those last only a few weeks, you can consider that you lived in a said place. . . However, when we’ll be looking back in 10 years and think about those 6+ months we spent in México, our hearts will probably say the opposite. . . We love this country. Its people, its beaches, its mountains, its cenotes, its art, its food. What a wonder. . .

Lazy Sunday morning in the van means woolly sweaters, slow tunes, messy hair and endless cups of coffee. 🚐❤️☕️ Captured by @we_who_roam#CamperLifestyle
