  • Y'all know I love to travel. I think there is nothing more humbling and out of comfort zone than stepping off an airplane and not knowing how to speak or read the primary language. I really believe that travel is the greatest educator in the self, in friendship, and in life experience. Where are you dreaming of for 2019? For me, one of the fun parts of travel is the pre-travel planning - how to get to where I want to go, what to see, how to get there, where to stay, where to eat, all of it! I've used the @expedia app to help plan my trips; my most recent booking was the mini van to cart of all us around Joshua Tree. This trip was a really special birthday trip that I'm actually thinking of doing yearly. Travel + friendship + photography are what keep me going, and this photo of @gesticulate is the perfect example of everything I love. But let's enjoy the chilliness when it's available because we might miss it when it gets hot and muggy. ~ ➖Glutes training began 3 years ago. I see much progress. 💪😄 ~ ➖I had heart function tests this week. Below are the findings and some take-out message. ~ · ➖I've been feeling very happy realizing the true meaning of POSITIVITY, NOT COMPARING UPWARD OR WITH OTHERS BUT APPRECIATING WHAT I HAVE AND REALIZING SOMETHING BAD (IF ANY) COULD HAVE GONE WORSE SO STILL APPRECIATING SOMETHING BAD THAT HAPPENED. I'm grateful that my mind feels calm and very happy... I HOPE YOU CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY. ~ · 🔶2 heart tests performed🔶 ➡EXERCISE STRESS TEST & ECHO TEST. ~ · 🔶MET (my level: 15-18) & Vo2 Max (my level: 55)🔶 ➡MET (Metabolic Equivalents of Task) for exercises. Measured this week. ➡Vo2 Max: measured 3 years. ~ · 🔶Exercise Intensity & Duration🔶~ · ➡After the 2 heart tests, I asked the doctor if it came out normal. The doctor said, "don't worry about shortness of breath. Not just normal but it's PERFECT. Top of the Top!" and said "you could continue to push yourself on the machines!" It answered my question of whether I should reduce the duration and intensity. ~ · Till 6 years ago (2012) I did a long fast cardio only. Then I started weights training and gradually increased the intensity and duration. I started experiencing shortness of breath and saw a pulmonologist (lung doctor) 3 years ago. He tested my Vo2 Max. It came out excellent (55), "perhaps close to that of the olympic women cyclists." ~ Now I'm very happy knowing my lung and heart are functioning very healthy. I can enjoy gym exercises as much as I could push my limits. The results of Vo2 Max from lung capacity test and Met level from heart function test motivate my continued exercise efforts. I recommend that you do these tests and figure out where you stand and improve the levels! 🙌💪🙋 ➖➖➖

It is a naturally found in some foods such as red meat and seafood. 95% of the creatine in our body is found in skeletal muscle with 5% in the brain and testes. In order to maintain normal, unsupplemented creatine stores, 1-3g need to be replenished each day. Generally, 1-2g of this coming from diet and the remaining being produced by the liver and kidneys. 🤓 . . Why supplement? 🤔 Normal creatine stores are usually only 60-80% saturated without supplementation, but creatine stores must be fully saturated to see the greatest improvements in performance. Vegetarians have also been shown to have lower intramuscular creatine stores. . .   • Down to 3 blocks for trap bar block pulls, cranking out 10 reps with 230kg 👊 with the festive season I'll be a lil less consistent with training (there's a whole world outside the gym, who knew?), so might not have a nice round finish to this wee block of trap bar deadlifts - however, looking at the height of the top handles (when loaded bar is on floor) there's not too much difference between it and the bottom handles from two blocks high, so if nothing else I should be able to get some kind of final trap bar lifting before the year is out, whether it's weight or reps 😄 from January 2019 I'll be moving to maintenance for the lower body to preserve some strength during the cardio work for the Ironman in July - as much as I'd like to build both, my cardio isn't where I'd like it to be to be sacrificing the time/energy to strength, so I'll focus more on one until it's up to scratch 🏊🚲🏃 also hitting some bench singles today, shoulders weren't feeling too hot after Thursdays long swim, but held together well for singles with 130kg 👊 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ For adaptive nutrition and training plans+coaching: 🌐 www.next-level-training.co.uk ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Merch: 🕺

If you’re not ticking both of those boxes, you’re wasting your time. This is why those of you who have never spend time building muscle will never look any different in the long run, and will struggle to make real tangible progress between diets.⁣ ⁣ We’ve been working with Graham for a while now, and three different diets (left to right). At the end of each diet, he’s ended up bigger and leaner than the last time. And this is because he focuses all of his attention in between on progressive overload with perfect form while staying in a consistent surplus. To make the improvements necessary, he accepted he may gain some body fat and look at little ‘fluffier’, but knew that in the long run, this would pay off.⁣ ⁣ Now that he’s happy with the size he’s gained over the past few years, his focus is now shifting towards maintaining a healthy condition year round. The key takeaway here is that if you want to gain significant amounts of muscle, you can’t stay attached to being very lean all the time. And if you’re happy with your size, you want to try and keep your body fat in check year round!

I used to be deceived by homosexuality in ways , but God set me free from the bondage of this sexual immorality . • We all are sinners and need the blood atonement of Christ Jesus that He made when He died on the cross for the sins of the world . He then was buried and rose the third day after . Becoming born again in Christ is by grace through faith in Him and His finished work on the cross , burial and resurrection . • Someone who is truly born again will begin then to have what people call a sanctification process . This is when your life begins to change for the better because you now have the Holy Spirit that leads you into all truth . Actions , desires , motives , all begin to gradually become more and more in line with God’s word and will . Someone who does not believe in God’s word does not have the fruit of a born again believer in Christ . Therefore still needing to receive salvation . If you are stuck in this sin please repent and turn to Christ . Life in flesh is but a vapor , eternity is forever . We do not have to condemn ourselves to hell by rejecting Christ .   • 💥📈 B U L K C H E C K I N G 📈💥 - Bilan du mois de Septembre : 1 mois tout pile depuis le début d’un nouveau cycle de prise de masse. . 📈+ 1,5kg sur la balance et une masse grasse qui a très légèrement augmenté. ➡️ Pour le coup la prise de gras est plus due à des écarts (trop nombreux) que j’ai fait ces derniers temps, qu’à la prise de masse elle-même. 🍕😝 . 🤓🍚🍗Je continue la diète et je surveille mes macros autant que possible . Comme expliqué dans mon article « Comment élaborer ta diète » je garde un œil sur les résultats obtenus et sur les objectifs pour ré-ajuster mon besoin calorique quotidien. 📊 . 📆Le tout est d’être le plus régulier possible et de s’inscrire dans la durée pour éviter de prendre trop de couenne ! 😂 . 🏋🏻‍♂️Côté training je ne lâche rien et je commence à ré-augmenter les charges progressivement. Les résultats commencent à venir !
