Little Carter urgently needs a #hearttransplant. Doctors now estimate he has three days left to get it. It’s difficult to think about but children can be donors too, and could save another family going through the same pain.
This was a really fun custom design that we did for @feral_mom . Their cat has a tipped ear which inspired this design. 🐱🐾
Will be up in our shop this weekend! Be sure to check it out. Link in bio. **We do custom orders!!!** And as always, free domestic shipping and proceeds go to help local animal rescues. 🐾❤️
An interesting day to post about this bean ‘shepard’s pie’ that I cooked last night, just as the EAT-Lancet commission release a report on the aim of planetary health diets. Analysis shows that to stay within the safe operating space for our food systems, a combination of substantial shift towards a plant based diet, dramatic reduction in food loos and improvements in food productions is needed. The report is very interesting and highlights suggest that the world’s agriculture will need to transition towards sustainable food production to reduce CO2 gasses to achieve the Paris global warming agreement. For those that don’t typically turn to vegetables and pulses to form their dinner they may struggle to see how yummy and exciting a plant based diet can actually be. However, this bean ‘shepard’s pie’ is a great example of trying something different, tasty and also sustainable being completely vegan. I loosely followed the @deliciouslyella recipe which you can find on the website, and then added butternut squash to the sweet potatoes mash and other things I particular love. It’s still a work in progress as I think I want to add a bit of chilli to the mix and maybe a chunk of 90% coco chocolate 🤔. But here is something that is relatively easy to throw together and also tasty and sustainable. This report being released demonstrates that if there is a universal adoption towards this plant diet we would not only avoid anymore environment degradation but also the prevention of approx 11 mil deaths due to better health 🌱🍓🥦🥜🥕✨

I know...Yes I know. I’m not that naïve. BUT...
It’s pretty incredible that after a couple of weeks of growth within my business that this email gets sent to me from The Universe.
Shout out to Gladys and Corkey for rocking this opportunity right along with me and earning a nice payday for just sharing with people.
This is the questions we ask ourselves daily:
“Who do you know that is looking for a solution to their health issues. Who do you know that wants to lose weight, gain lean muscle, age gracefully and is in need of increased energy. Who do you know?” Here is the next question we ask ourselves:
“Who do you know that is financially struggling that we can help through this opportunity? Who do you know that money isn’t an issue but they have no time to themselves, their families, their spouse? Who do you know”
The truth is, everyone needs health and nutrition, everyone would like extra money and more time freedom. So we ask ourselves these question to keep ourselves on track. We have people to help and in some cases we have lives to save.
The skies the limit ladies, and we are just getting started!

We're equally excited to share the exuberant response that we received today, January 17th, at the orientation for first-years at Dow Medical College. Clearly, it's time every Pakistani learns how to save a life! Let's together make this happen!
My husband had a visit today, mistaken visit buy otherwise important- 2 lovely fire fighters who were looking for another house - he was very impressed as it's his birthday on Monday and he thought his friends had sent him a gift 😂😂, we're looking for another address similar to ours but after polite conversation they asked if they could check our smoke alarms; which work perfectly. Fire spreads so quickly from the smallest thing, so I'm glad those 2 lovely ladies happened to knock on our door and check them for us, hopefully we'll never need them unless it's a bit of bad cooking.

Grateful to be healthy and be able to be a regular blood donor. The Staff are always so friendly and can't believe I'm not on any medication nor not been to a Doctor for illness in over 11 yrs. Another 3 lives saved.

Thank you to Zach Romano, a Walgreens community pharmacist, who recently helped saved a fellow team member's life by administering epinephrine after the team member suffered an allergic reaction from a bee sting while at work. According to Nevin Partain, Director of Pharmacy and Retail Operations, "Zach rushed to the team member, obtained consent, and calmly administered the epinephrine before the team member's airway fully closed up. Zach's dedication to his team and all of our patients is truly an inspiration." Pictured here are Leslie Hurst, PharmD, BCACP, Healthcare Supervisor, Zach Romano, and Nevin Partain.
Did you know that the average gas station sells inflated CBD oil products that are filled with horrible ingredients not meant for you body?
Did you know that you can get $40 worth of products for the price of shipping and handling?

****DONOR SPOTLIGHT**** Congratulations to our December Donor of the Month.....
Monica is very active with her 3 children and newest addition a puppy named Titan. She enjoys cooking and anything outdoors with her kids and dogs. Monica did a lot of research before coming in to our center just 2 days after we opened. She found that plamsa helps make many life saving medications. Thank you for coming in and helping us save lives Monica. It’s a pleasure to hear your stories and see your smile.

This is so important. I spent so much of the last three months worrying about the future, that I forgot to just live my life. I started second guessing everything I did. I wouldn't send messages to people in case I didn't get a reply - because then I'd start thinking that they didn't like me. I avoided applying for jobs because I knew I wouldn't get it anyway. I became irritated with everything, and everyone around me, and life just stopped. •
These last two weeks I've been trying to change that. I've stopped putting so much pressure on myself and started doing the things I love again; writing, reading, journaling. And my mind feels so much clearer. I'm not saying it's all been plain sailing, I've still had days where I haven't had the energy to do a lot, but I've made the decision to live in the present rather than have an existential crisis about my future. •
In such a fast paced world, we forget to just slow down; to be outside, to appreciate nature, to be without technology. So at some point in the next few days, spend an hour outside. Breathe in the fresh air and just be with your thoughts - no distractions.

Heart Wrenching Story by Mufti Menk
A few years ago Baby Abdullah died in London with a rare genetic disorder. His parents, who were devastated, decided to set up a charity Abdullah Aid UK @Abdullahaiduk to help those suffering across the globe in memory of their child.
This charity has grown rapidly and has achieved so much in some of the poorest countries of the world. I have personally seen their good work.
Last year they were blessed with Maryam. Unfortunately a few weeks ago she was diagnosed the same genetic disorder. This time medication is available but not on the UK's NHS health care system.
A minimum of 100,000 signatures are required to take this matter further. Baby Maryam, who is running out of time, desperately needs your help to sign the petition to make this drug available for all such cases.
Please help save lives by liking, commenting on and sharing this post, and most importantly, by signing this petition. No money is g ferrying requested. Just a signature. Location is irrelevant so no matter where you are, please sign this petition.
I think they deserve more than the few minutes of our time that they're asking.
This link will be up in my bio section for two weeks inshaAllah.
My Las Vegas Nursing Students ! 📚💉
I am so excited as SGA President to be apart of bringing you the opportunity to save a life with our blood drive @chamberlainedu on February 19th 💉 We have partnered with @americanredcross to host a drive on campus from 10:30-4:30 that day, this time on a “BLOOD-MOBILE BUS” 🚐 A sign in sheet to schedule exact appointments will be available in the CAS and it is HIGHLY recommended to guarantee your ability to donate and continue on your studies for the day. If you miss this drive, DO NOT WORRY , we will have another one this year..... Our goal is 45 donations that day, so please, tag your classmates to help spread the news! Snacks and drinks will be provided afterwards. Let’s save some lives, student nurses ♥️ #giveblood#savelives#nursingschool#futurenurse
Today’s act of gratitude isn’t for everyone. While I think that everyone should donate blood, there are many reasons people can’t.
Donating blood is almost painless (you get a finger poke and then they stick a garden hose size needle in your arm 💉).
But through giving blood at a local donor center (my favorite is @bloodcenterwi ) or through the @americanredcross you are able to help save lives.
Your donation might be used during a surgery, there might be a trauma patient in need of blood, or you blood might go to a new baby just starting out in life.
The hour it takes and the minor pain is well with the amount of good you can do in the world if you are able to donate.
We lost a few friends in 2018, and as we move forward into this new year - we carry them with us in our hearts. We are grateful to have known and loved each of these special souls. We are forever changed because of them, and we will continue telling their stories and fighting for the animals in their memory. Because of you, lives are saved and long, happy lives are lived on their terms. We cannot thank you enough for helping us do this work. It's all for them, and they are so worth it. Every single life matters.❤️
