This morning on the border of the Mission District and Noe Valley. ☔️
After grabbing breakfast at Chloe’s Cafe in Noe Valley this morning, I ventured around the Noe-Mission-Bernal area as the rain began to fall.
Whenever I’m out and about I tend to take quite a few of these ‘perspective’ shots - the type of shots looking down a row of repeating windows from the side. 📸
Something about them screams ‘San Francisco’ to me, but for whatever reason I don’t share as many as I take - and I certainly don’t share as many as I used to.
But when I looked at this after I took it today, I felt like it really captured the dampness, colors, and architecture of a gray and rainy morning in the Mission - the shoes dangling from the power line, and the Mexican flag in the window made it feel especially appropriate for the Mission.
Happy Friday, friends! 😁🍻🥂🍾🎉

Spent a day in the 2019 @Lincoln MKC, and I didn't even know what I was missing. 🙌🏼😍 #ad A center stack touchscreen, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, heated seats throughout the entire car, and this glorious Panoramic Vista Moon Roof... talk about an upgrade! 👏🏼💃🏻 Is it too bold to say that I think this car could serve as my mobile office? Because I'm considering it. 🤔😉 See the link in my bio. 😘 // #LincolnMKC#sanfrancisco
I am still on my quest to find the best sushi in SF. Last nights adventure took us to Oma San Francisco Station in Japantown. A cute small storefront turned restaurant, Oma can only seat 7 people at a time. It truly reminds me of a train station sushi bar in Japan. We had the Secret Menu for a total of 18 pieces and every slice of fish was so fresh and amazing. This is their preparation of ankimo (monkfish liver), a personal favorite of mine. It’s often compared to foie gras; the texture is creamy and silky and the taste is rich and unctuous. We had an amazing time making conversation with the staff. Wilson, Sam, and Justin are the dream team for this quaint and personable restaurant.
I’ll be visiting a range of different sushi restaurants in the next few months and will ultimately announce my favorites! Stay tuned!
