Recently, in conversation with a potential travel partner for 2019, I was asked to share what my hobbies, interests + curiosities are. . . When was the last time you were asked that? 💭 For multi-faceted creative entrepreneurs, I know first hand that the line between hobbies and work tend to get blurred often so I welcomed this opportunity to check in with myself 〰️ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀
First word that came to my mind: outdoors 🌊🏔⛺️ I love playing and creating and exploring outdoors. Photography came second, although it is my work now, it’s is still my greatest hobby and something I’m constantly inspired to do. Beyond that, I love to paddle board, hike, sail, journal and explore. I love a good cup of matcha in the morning. I love good, deep conversation. My curiosities surround anything holistic and rooted in nature: plant-based food, local culture, naturopathic medicine, sustainable agriculture, plant dyes, making haku, gardening, getting lost in nature.
It’s freeing and fun to look within and think about what’s important to me beyond what I create + put out into the world for work ✨
So join me! Take a moment to check in + share what three of your hobbies, interests or curiosities in life are. What sets your soul on fire 💥 I’d love to know!
Excited to hopefully get out in the water with this mermaid (the eco goddess @lex.weinstein) while she’s on island! This moment was captured by the legend @silkymerman — I think we need round ✌🏼🙏🏼

Always exhilarating shooting on the edge of creation at Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. Kīlauea, one of the most active volcanoes on the planet, was traditionally considered the sacred home of the volcano goddess Pele, and Hawaiians visited the crater to offer gifts to the goddess. Located more than 2,000 miles from the nearest continental land mass, the Hawaiian Archipelago is the most geographically isolated group of islands on Earth.
