6h —> 1 min. Timelapse of my @colesprouse portrait, made with @artezaofficial watercolours and paper. I really enjoyed the process and materials so I’ll probably try this again. Should I do more timelapses? Do you find them helpful?

I absolutely loved using these watercolours that @artezaofficial sent me. 36 half pans provided an incredible colour range and they blended perfectly. Even better, the paper was thick enough that it didn’t dissolve under my many, many layers of water, and the rough texture was ideal for watercolours. The only slight problem was that there was no white, but there is an entire extra row where you can add your own pans. Overall, I would highly recommend these.
This is my first time doing a watercolour portrait, and only my second time doing a coloured portrait, so it was really fun to try out. Keep an eye out for the timelapse of this drawing which will be posted in a few days! (Sorry for the long caption 😅)

Ink drawing of a shell 🐚 This was my first time using this type of ink, and it took a while to get used to building up tones with ink washes.

Oil painting of a mask covered by blue cloth 💙 Swipe for progress —>
The aim behind this piece was to see how far it is possible to distort something before it becomes unrecognisable, and if you can recognise something when just given key features, such as eyes, a nose and a mouth. Comment below if you knew what it was!

Christmas lights drawn with @artezaofficial woodless pencils on @artezaofficial drawing pad🎄
I love these colouring pencils that @artezaofficial sent me to try out! Firstly, they’re woodless so they look super aesthetic and are a comfortable weight. For there only being 24 pencils, the range of colours was excellent so they are perfect for colourful, vivid drawings. The only problem that I encountered was that the pigment is quite hard and waxy, so at times it was difficult to blend them and layer them. As for the paper, the thickness and quality is perfect for colouring pencils, and the texture is also ideal. Overall, I’m quite happy with the pencils and I love the paper, and they are great quality for a low cost, making them the perfect Christmas present!

I thought it was fitting to repost an old pastel and watercolour painting, titled ‘Europe at War’. In each country, I have drawn a war scene which occurred there during WWI (although Russia is the Russian Revolution 1917). Today, 11th November 2018, marks 100 years since WWI ended, one of the deadliest conflicts ever, in which there were over 16 million deaths and 37 million casualties, both military and civilian.

It’s my birthday! 🎉 Which drawing is your favourite, 1, 2, 3 or 4?
I did these sketches on a school art trip to the Wellcome Collection and the Grant Museum, so I only had limited time to do each of them.

Here is my improvement in watercolour landscapes from 2014 - 2018. Which is your favourite?
All of the watercolours were painted at our house in Sweden, and if you look carefully you may be able to see where the images connect (e.g. the 2017 painting is of the rocks and sea that you can see in the background of the 2014 painting, and the 2018 painting shows what is to the right of 2017)

Digital drawing of a wolf that I’ve been working on (on and off, mostly off) for probably around 1 year now. I began it to experiment with digital techniques since it was my first digital drawing, and I wanted to post it since I’ve been so inactive recently. Should I finish it?
