  • When @alexanderlembke_photography was hired as an expedition guide and photography instructor for a sailing expedition around Spitzbergen he knew this would require proper preparation concerning photography gear and clothing. Accompanied by our ZEISS Milvus 1.4/85, the Milvus 2/135, and the Otus 1.4/28, he explored the world's northernmost inhabited area. Are you ready for an adventure? Then follow the link in bio!

  • To get to this viewpoint, ZEISS ambassador @ed_norton took a little plane to fly around the mountain peaks of Aoraki National Park in New Zealand. For Ed, it was a real adventure when the pilot took a sharp bank and aimed them towards the snow to land on the glacier. Just a moment later, Ed stood amongst the huge mountains without another soul in sight - except for this helicopter that jumped out from behind another peak.

  • All of you know the first man on the moon. But do you know the first lens on the moon? πŸŒ‘ The photographs of the first moon landing went around the world adorning the front pages of magazines and newspapers. Some of them entered the history books. All of them showed something mankind has never seen before. 50 years ago, we made a small contribution to something momentous with our technology. Camera lenses specially designed by ZEISS for use in space played an important role in capturing the images of these monumental achievements of mankind. Preparations for the extreme conditions outside of the Earth's atmosphere are critical. All of the technology has to function reliably in spite of zero gravity and temperature fluctuations. How could a lens withstand the extreme conditions of space? Follow the link in bio and explore it yourself: 3 – 2 – 1 – Lift-off πŸš€ Source: NASA
